DESCRIPTION:Welcome to Gardermoen and Ulfhednar Winter Bolt\, held by Oslo og Akershus Langholdsklubb! \nUlfhednar Winter Bolt is held the 15th of February 2020 in Sørum and Wettal\, close to Oslo Airport Gardermoen\, Norway. 10 varied stages\, more than 100 rounds\, hopefully in rough winter conditions. This competition will measure many of your basic shooting skills\, the precision and the long range capabillities of you and your equipment in Norwegian winter. The competition feature PRS\, milling\, sling-only stage\, speed shooting\, a few paper targets\, but mostly steel targets\, from 90 – 570 meters. \nTogether with our sponsors we have assembled a very nice table of prizes of great value that will be soldered out among the shooters and organizers present. Prizes and awards will be presented during the complimentary banquet held Saturday night at Clarion Hotel Congress Oslo Airport. The winner will receive the big Viking horn. Runner up will receive a smaller Viking horn. Same with best hunter and best female shooter. We encourage hunters and females to sign up. Other than this everyone shoot in the same class competing about the same prizes. Top 5 will have special prizes awarded from our sponsors. \nUlfhednar Winter Bolt is a bolt rifle contest only! Maximum calibre is .30 up to 950 m/s (magnum is not allowed). We are using the rules of PRS Norway. We will during the Match Brief try to arrange a lift for travellers without transportation of their own. \nWe recomend shooters with rifles weighing less than 5 kg and scope magnification less that 12x to sign in the “Hunter”-class. And females in the “Female Shooter”-class. The rest use “Shooter”-class. All classes compete about the same prizes\, but we will give some extra attention to the best Hunter and best Female Shooter. \nAccomodation: \nSince most activities will be\, or have a starting point\, at Clarion Hotel & Congress Oslo Airport we recomend all travellers to arrange accomodation here.
